Prior to dropping your quilt top off for service doing the following helps your quilter.

• Press your quilt top on the front and the back. This ensures your quilt will lie flat for quilting.
• Please trim any lose threads on the front and the back of the quilt top for best result.
• If you have prepared your backing prior to drop off, please press to remove any set creases.
• If your quilt top requires any embellishments such as buttons or beads, please wait until after quilting to attach those.  If you prefer to add your embellishments prior to quilting, please contact me to collaborate on a quilting plan.
• The following suggestion is very helpful to prevent stretching and popped seams, especially quilts without borders... do a victory lap! A victory lap is a straight stitch 1/8" away from the edge of your quilt all the way around your quilt top. This helps your quilt lie flatter for easy quilting.

Of course you can! If you have a specific vision for what color you want your top thread to be I will do my best to accommodate you. If you prefer that I use creative license to enhance the quilt, I would be happy to do that also.

Great question! Your Long Arm Quilting service includes the 100% hand guided quilting to join your quilt layers together. Guidance for motif if you prefer. It also includes all thread used, both top thread and bobbin thread.  Backing fabric and batting is not included.
