I do all my long arm quilting on my APQS Freddie. My machine is equipped with a stitch regulator which regulates the number of stitches per inch. My machine does not have a "computerized quilting" function where the machine is attached to a computer and has preprogramed quilting designs and motifs. I rarely use pantographs.
100% of the quilts I complete are done by me moving the machine to create the motif or design. Your quilt will have 100% hand guided quilting.
Long arm quilting prices are determined by the density of the quilting stitches combined with the square inches of your quilt top. Example: if your quilt top is 56 inches by 72 inches, you take 56 and multiply by 72 equals 4,032 square inches. Thread is included in pricing. Batting and Backing is not included.
Binding services are determined by the total Linear inches of your quilt top. To confirm measure each side of your quilt and add them together. Left + Right + Top + Bottom measurements= total linear inches. If your quilt top is 56 inches by 72 inches, add 56 +56+72+72= 256 linear inches. **Binding fabric not included. If supplied by Star Garnet Stitchery, the retail price of the fabric will be added to your invoice.
Star Garnet Stitchery will prepare (Cut, sew and press binding)
Star Garnet Stitchery will attach the prepared binding strip to the front of the quilt, and you can attach to the back of the quilt in the method you prefer.
Star Garnet Stitchery will attach prepared binding to the top side of the quilt and stitched down to the back of the quilt using coordinating or matching thread.
Star Garnet Stitchery will seam provided backing yardage into correct backing size. Please provide at least 4 inches per side extra for clearance. Backing fabric not included. If Star Garnet Stitchery provides backing yardage, the retail price will be added to your invoice.
Star Garnet Stitchery will assess the damage to the quilt top prior to quilting. If repairs are needed including but not limited to popped seams, tears, holes in fabrics not near seams, I will advise if I am able to repair it or if the quilt should be seen by a quilt restoration expert. Star Garnet Stitchery will not quilt a quilt top with above mentioned needed repairs until they are fixed for the safety of the quilt and our equipment.
